February 16 — “The psalms train us in the very prayer of Jesus, for it is to the Psalter that he turns on the cross. As we are absorbed into the Psalter, our religious imaginations are fused to his. Just as important is the way the repetition of psalm and canticle shape us to find our way forward through rather than around, above, or underneath the given form of the scriptural witness. ...
